2nd Annual Meeting of HIMCS Alumni Association (HIMCSAA)

The second Annual Meeting of HIMCS Alumni Association was hosted by the placement committee on 14 th March 2004. Invitations were extended to ex student of HIMCS and its was good to see that inepite of their tight schedules. Ex student who are now working executives in corpotate world, came down to HIMCS from not only Agra, but also Ghaziabad and Delhi.

As alumni kept pouring in the media Centre. Prof M.S. Teotia, (Director). Ms. Rekha Sharma, (Chairperson Placement Committee MCA) Mr. Prashant Verma, (Chairperson Placement MBA) and Mr Kunwar Ashish (Executive, Training & Placement) took their seats on the dias. Faculty members who graced the occasion were Ms. J. Mercy Geraldine. Ms. Rekha Resu. MBA AmolGandhi, Mr. Rajneesh Yadav and Ms. Ritu Sinha from Dept. of MBA.

The Purpose of calling the HIMCSAA Meeting was to kick start the procedure of electing office bearers and makes the association operational. A detaited constitution was farmed out jointly by the placement committees of MBA &MCA Dept. which was briefed to the esteemed audiences by student members of placement committee .It was followed by Director's Message. Prof, Teotia emphasized on the potentially powerful role HIMCSAA can play in establishing industry institute interface, an initiative of the inchtela

After this, the new faculty members introduced themselves to the alumni). Now it was the turn of the alumni to share their corporate experiences and life after college. On one hand nostalgia crept in and on the other there were suggestions for future improvement of their Almamater. They also discussed the viability of HIMCSAA. It was decided that Elections will be held on time and alumni will submit its feedback and suggestion via email to the Institute.

The function ended with high tea and informal mingling of alumni, present students and faculty members.

With joy of having met their batch mates, seniors and teachers the meeting was dispersed with are anticipation of more enthusiastie participation in next meeting of HIMCSAA.
