Hindustan institute of management & computer
studies is situated at the 27 km milestone on the Agra-Delhi
highway (NH-2). It is housed in a modern complex of buildings on
a 34 acre plot and a covered area of 30,000 square feet is exclusively
allotted to it. The building complexes comprises teaching blocks,
laboratories, hostel, residential accommodation and other facilities
that support an excellence learning ambience at the campus. Hindustan

Teaching - Learning Processes
Teaching - Learning processes cover the entire spectrum of activities
that are involved in the delivery of education. It includes consideration
of the choice of each faculty member for teaching a particular subject
in the concerned semester, balancing their respective teaching load,
identifying external faculty, if required, taking into consideration
the time slots preferred by faculty members and drawing up a timetable
which balances class lectures, tutorials and leaves time to the
students for contacting their teachers for academic advisement and
their tutor-guardians for other needs and for visiting the library.
Curriculum is designed in keeping with the syllabus prescribed
by the University but also includes value-added courses consistent
with the current and evolving needs of prospective employers. Appropriate
teaching methodologies are designed after discussion with the faculty.
Internal assessment is done within the norms prescribed by the university
but with full freedom to the concerned teacher as to the assignments,
tests, quizzes, cases and use of other textual material and field
work if required.
Supplementary Processes
Various co-curricular activities are planned and organized as per
the calendar of events notified in the Student Manual prepared every
year. It includes seminars, personality development workshops, role
plays, debates, group discussion, mock interviews, guest lectures

4 serves, 720 desktops with high-speed networks,
2 MBPS leased OFC line.
Library
The library has more than 11168 books, 78 journals,
along with 91 audio and 78 video cassettes. The staff is qualified
and trained to provide an efficient service to the students and
the faculty. Addition to books and periodicals is continuously made
to ensure that there is a wide selection of reference material and
textbooks to meet the needs of the students.
Hostel
1 senior hostel for boys (capacity 61 students),
1 girls hostel (capacity 50 students) with facilities, common rooms,
STD/PCO and other recreational facilities.
