ADMISSION TO COURSES

85% of the seats are filled by the University through State Entrance Examination (SEE-MTU), depending on the rank obtained by the student.Counselling sessions for the same are called in 9 cities and announced in leading Newspapers.15% seats are filled by the colleges through Direct admissions under MTU guidelines.

The order of preference for these Management quota admissions is indicated below-

All B. Tech Ist year-

(i) Rank in SEE-MTU

(ii) Rank in AIEEE

 

Note: for B.Tech.(Bio-Tech.), Physics & Chem. with either Maths or Bio. with 60% marks is eligible.

B.Tech IInd year - Direct Admission-

(i) Rank in SEE-MTU

(ii) Diploma in Engg. with 60% or B.Sc. (with maths) 60% marks.

B.Pharma-1st Year

(i) Rank in SEE-MTU

(ii)10+2 with Physics & Chemistry and any one of Maths/Bio./Computer Science with 60% marks.


B.Pharma IInd year- Direct Admission

(i) Rank in SEE-MTU

(ii) Diploma in Pharmacy with 60%


MBA-

(i) Rank in SEE-MTU

(ii) Rank in CAT/MAT

(iii) Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks


MCA -

(i) Rank in SEE-MTU

(ii) Graduation with 60% marks; & 10+2 with Maths with 50% marks.

Lapsed Seats - Lapsed seats are those where in the students who opted for a college during counseling and were offered admission by MTU but do not join subsequently or withdraw,thereby creating a set of vacant seats which are termed as Lapsed seats.These seats may be filled by subsequent counseling of MTU or the University may authorize the college to fill up the seats, if counseling sessions are over in which case the procedure /eligibility of Management Quota seats applies.


Registration
-
Students seeking admission through the Management quota or against anticipated lapsed seats; (and meeting the eligibility criteria as stated above), may register with the Admission Cell along with a demand draft of Rs. 30,000/- drawn in favor of the College where admission is being sought, payable at Agra and appear in  an assessment test and await their turn. The admission will be announced as per the laid down procedure.


BBA/BCA Courses which are available at Anand Engineering College, Agra  are affiliated to Dr. B. R Ambedkar Univ. Agra. There is no competitive examination and students have to apply in the prescribed format and admission is granted post successful completion of an interview is subject to meeting the eligibility criteria, on first come first serve basis.

 

Eligibility BBA - (10+2) in any discipline with 50% marks.

Eligibility BCA - (10+2) with 50% marks and Maths in 10th.

B. Ed. / M. Ed. / B.P. Ed. Courses - eligibility is 50% marks in qualifying examinations for B.Ed. & M.Ed, 45% at graduation with proficiency in sports for B.P.Ed

   

M. Tech Courses - All M. Tech Engineering and Technology courses, offered at Agra and Mathura Campuses are approved by AICTE and affiliated to the MTU.

Eligibility-

• Rank in UPSEE-M

• GATE percentile of 85%  desirable.

• Minimum 60% in B. Tech from an AICTE approved institution (relaxation for sponsored candidates), in a related domain.

 

Direct application - with the concerned Department and Program Coordinator.

For sponsored candidates eligibility can be relaxed.
