Important :
- Pre qualification examination criteria for all Under-Graduate programs should be Class 12th from any of the recognized boards of India. In case of foreign nationals the pre-qualification criteria for all Under –Graduate programs is the equivalent of Class 12th followed in that particular country and meets Association of Indian University guidelines.
- Students who have appeared for their Class 12th board or equivalent examination in Yr 2009 can also apply for under-graduate courses.
- Pre qualification examination criteria for all post-Graduate programs should be graduation from any of the recognized college/university of India. In case of foreign nationals the pre-qualification criteria for all post –Graduate programs is the equivalent of graduation followed in that particular country and meets association of Indian University guidelines.
- Students who have appeared for their Graduation final year examinations or equivalent examination in Yr 2009 can also apply for Post Graduate courses.
- Management has discretion to call the candidates for Personal Interview before final admission.
- TOEFL /IELTS compulsory for foreign national students who did not have English as their primary language of teaching.
- 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped for all the above mentioned courses, except where pass is the minimum requirement.
- Lateral Entries directly in second year are available for MBA and Master in Mass Communication, Advertising and Journalism but they will have to conform to the respective eligibility and selection criteria.

Direct Admission
All Colleges of SGI grant direct admission as per government norms for which students have to register themselves at the respective institute or at the Corporate Office (New Delhi). The Information Brochure and Registration Form can be obtained from the office on payment of Rs. 1000/- (by post Rs. 1050/-) a non-refundable registration fee.

Direct Admission to Second Year :
Candidates who have passed a 3-4 year Diploma (with minimum 60% marks) recognized by the UP Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering / Technology, except Agriculture Engg. / Technology.
Candidates who have passed B.Sc. with maths can also apply for Second Year Direct Admission.
The eligible candidates, seeking direct admission to the 2nd year, are required to submit the duly filled application forms in Admission Offices. Such candidates need not to appear in the entrance test. Their merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained by them in the diploma.
