Ques ) Career Options in BCA.
Ans)The course provides a sound academic base from which an advanced career in Computer Application can be developed . These graduates can start their career as a Junior Programmer and get promoted to the post of senior Programmers & Project Managers in the IT sector.


Ques ) What different subjects I have to study in BCA ?
Ans) In this program, besides computer, a student gets diversified knowledge on Management, Financial Accounting and Management, Production and Operations management etc

Ques) What should I opt after BCA,MCA or MBA?
Ans)
After successful completion of the course, students interested in higher education can opt for MCA (Masters of Computer Applications).. You can do MBA with dual specializations wherein you can keep IT as one of your specialization. That would give you scope to try out various fields like you can do Marketing and get into IT marketing which is doing well now or can do HR and get into any software firm as HR Manager.
MBA does help in project management and many MCA's are also doing a module of Business management after few years of work experience. If you want to become a programmer or software engineer for that MCA is a must.


MCA

1) What is MCA?         
MCA is a 3 year Post Graduate Program in Computer Applications Provided by Universities in India. Following is the yearly course content of the Program.

  • 1st year is devoted to Basic concepts in Computer Technology
  • 2nd year is concentrates on Higher level concepts in Computer Applications
  • 3rd year is devoted to Specialization and Industrial Project.

                                            
2) What are the eligibility criteria for MCA?
Generally graduates in any discipline, with Mathematics as one of the major subjects in Senior Secondary School i.e. classes (XI & XII) or above is eligible. Students in the final year of their graduation are also eligible provided they submit the proof of their completing graduation by a specified date. You should have scored passing marks in graduation with mathematics as a subject.

3) If one had no math at plus two levels is he eligible for MCA entrance tests?
Most institutes require you to have Mathematics as a subject in your 10+2 or graduation. Even if you do not have it at your 10+2 but in graduation, it will do. In case you do not have any then you have very few options left for you. Also, since the entrance tests are based on your aptitude in mathematics, you would certainly require having basic understanding of higher-level mathematics in order to clear the written test.
