SGI B.Tech Programs – Select the Right Engineering Branch

< Home

Engineering as a career option is one of the most demanding fields of today. This is the discipline and profession of applying scientific, technical and mathematical knowledge for the utilization of natural laws and physical resources. These resources help design and implement materials, machines, structures, devices, systems and processes that safely realize a desired objective.

For becoming an engineer, one should have a professional degree in Engineering such as B.Tech, M.Tech etc. Now-a-days, there are numerous engineering branches and many of students do not know about which branch is suitable for them. SGI (Sharda Group of Institutions) also offer many B.Tech courses such as B.Tech (CS/IT), B.Tech (Environmental Engineering), B.Tech (Civil Engineering), B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) and many more. Some of its Engineering branches are:

  • B.Tech (Computer Science/ Information Technology): - B.Tech (CS/IT) course is one of the best undergraduate programs in this competitive world. This course consists of many programs for e.g. software development and engineering, consulting, office automation, networking, support and services with system integration, computing, telecommunication and so on.

  • B.Tech (Civil Engineering): - In Civil Engineering, the program contains the designing, construction and maintenance of the buildings, roads, railways, bridges and others. A civil engineer is responsible for planning and designing of concrete structures and executing the project at an estimated scale.

  • B.Tech (Environmental Engineering): - Today, B.Tech (Environmental Engineering) is one of the emerging branch of engineering which gives the knowledge of science and engineering principles for improving the environment for e.g. air, water and other resources. As an environmental Engineer, one can get jobs in many industries such as R & D institutions, waste recycling, pollution control and Govt. regulatory bodies.

  • B.Tech (Electronics and Instrumental): - Today there is a big demand of B.Tech (Electronics and Instrumental). The requirement of this engineer is where industrial process control or industrial automation requirements exist. After completing this B.Tech program, one can do job in chemical processor industries and automated production process industries such as tyre, steel, cement, rubber and so forth.

By concluding, we can say that SGI Institute offers various B.Tech programs. Students can select branches according to their interests. SGI engineering colleges are known as one of the best engineering colleges of North India.
