A Brief Description of SGI B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) Program

As a Chemical Engineer, there is too much scope of it for making a successful and fruitful career. B.Tech (Chemical engineering) is a branch of engineering that is concerned with the design, construction and operation of machines and plants which perform chemical reactions for solving the practical problems or making useful products. This is a great combination of the Chemistry knowledge and Engineering for the production of chemicals and related by products. Chemical engineering is a varied field that covers areas of biotechnology and nanotechnology to mineral processing.

As a Chemical Engineer, one can convert basic raw materials into a variety of products and deals with the design and operation of plants and equipment to perform such work. B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) is suitable for those students who have a keen interest to work with chemicals. This course covers many fields of chemical technology for instance, mineral based industries, petrochemical plants, pharmaceuticals, petroleum refining plants, dyes, paints, rubbers and many more.
