The
Group recognizes that the excellence in education can be achieved
only through nurturing the top of the line faculty. It is therefore
the continuous endeavor of the Group to locate and recruit the
best of the talent available in the top rank institutions of higher
learning in India. The Group has been able to assemble an excellent
team of academics for all its institutions. The HRM policies of
the Group encourage autonomy, faculty development, an enabling
work environment and focus on excellence in the delivery of education.
The top faculty is drawn from world-renowned institutions like
IITs, Roorkee University and Regional Engineering Colleges.
The core faculty is supported by a distinguished
set of visiting faculty comprising senior mangers from industry,
top government officers and senior faculty members of other educational
institutions. The concept of visiting faculty does not only provide
an opportunity to the students to interact with the people in practicing
disciplines of their interest but it also strengthens academia–industry
interface. The staffing pattern of the faculty aims at bringing
a balance between practical experience and theory.
Faculty Empowerment
We are one of the self financed technical education
institutes in the state of Uttar Pradesh and one of the first in
North India to implement the AICTE pay commission scale to our faculty.
Dearness and other allowances are paid as admissible under the State
Government rules.
Career advancement schemes has been in vogue for
the last three years. While encouraging promotion of well qualified
and sincere staff, we believes that recruitment of good faculty
of outside is also essential for a healthy growth of institution.
The management has taken a decision to encourage the faculty to
acquire higher degrees and modalities have been worked out for extending
help, in financial term as well as in terms of production of workload,
for those doing their Ph.D. while working here, and for deputing
a few members of faculty every year with financial support, to IITs,
IISc and the other institutes of repute. We are committed to help
the faculty and the supporting staff in updating their knowledge
and acquiring new skills in order to teach the students more effectively.
A few Laboratory Assistants and Technicians were also deputed for
short-term training courses during the same period. We have brought
all of our support staff under the Employees' Provident Fund Scheme.
The management has also decided to implement the Medical and Group
Insurance Scheme and Gratuity Scheme for the benefit of its employees.
As a matter of policy, we wishes to provide decent working conditions
to its faculty and supporting staff.
