UNIVERSITY CAMPUS PLACEMENTS 2016- A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY
The 2016 batch from Chandigarh University saw some big names such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard visiting the varsity campus for conducting their campus placements. A record number of 4950 students were selected during the placement season in which more than 465 multinational companies participated. There was a jump of 30% in number of companies visiting CU for placements for 2016 batch in comparison to last year while the number of students selected saw a jump of 60% to touch the figure of 4950.
The 360° training program prepares the student’s foundation from Day 1 of his/her joining CU-Gharuan which is required by the Multi-Nationals while recruiting a prospective employee. During Pre-Placement Program the student undergoes Aptitude, Communication Skills and Technical training followed by personal analysis by HR experts who discusses individually the skill-set area as per the Industry requirement. A dedicated team of experts conducts Regular Employability Test through M-CAT, simulated GD, Extempore, Personal Interview sessions with the students before assessing and preparing them for Campus Placements.
