Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) conducts every year a competitive exam i.e. JEE (Joint Entrance Exam). Many aspirants appear in this exam who want to get admission in Top Engineering Colleges of India. Indian Institutes of Technology has established through an Act of Parliament that plays a leading role in the development of technological manpower. This entrance exam is attempted by the candidate in only twice in consecutive years.
Eligibility Criteria For JEE Entrance Exam
A candidate, who has cleared 10 + 2 standard or equivalent exam with 60% exam or more, can appear in this exam. The student has to meet all the following conditions:-
An individual can attempt JEE entrance exam only twice in consecutive years

Pattern of JEE Exam
In IIT Exam, there are two question papers and the duration of these papers is three hours each. Both papers consist of three different sections i.e. Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. In these question papers, questions will be objective type that are to be answered on a specially designed machine-gradable sheet i.e. Optical Response Sheet (ORS) by using HB pencils.
Mathematics
For scoring well in Mathematics section, an individual have to solve simple, challenging and complex problems. The section contains mathematics questions on various subjects such as Algebra, Logarithms and their properties, analytical geometry, Locus problems, trigonometry, vectors, Integral calculus and so on.
Physics
In JEE Question Paper, the format of the physics section changes every year. This exam consists of questions on these topics for e.g. Mechanics, Optics, Electricity and magnetism, modern physics and others. For qualifying IIT exam, one should learn definitions and formulas in each chapter. An individual should review all the chapters and recall the formulas, laws and techniques mentioned in the chapters.
Chemistry
The chemistry paper will come in the format in both Paper I and Paper II that straight objective type, multiple objective type, reasoning type and linked-comprehension type. The straight objective type paper includes questions with four alternative answers in which only one answer is correct. On the other hand, the multiple-correct answer type involves questions with four alternative answers in which more than one answer will be the right one.
