The Sharda Educational Trust has started its first venture in the year 1996 with “Hindustan College of Science and Technology” that is situated on National Highway (NH 2) between Agra and Mathura with the strength of students 160 only. Today it has expanded itself with four campuses along with more than 12000+ students. This is also known as Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI). This institute is also planning to achieve deemed university status with the accreditation of NBA (National Board of Accreditation) that is provided for excellence in infrastructure and possesses for the delivery of higher professional education. The SGI Institute has four campuses i.e. Greater Noida, Mathura, Anand and BMAS.
The Hindustan Campus : - This campus is situated at Farah (27 Km far from Agra city) and it is spread across 34 acres land. At Hindustan Campus, there are two colleges i.e. Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies and Hindustan College of Science & Technology. These colleges have a total built up area of 6, 00,000 sq.ft. of covered area built on a plot of 34 acres.
The Anand Campus : - The Anand Campus is located at Keetham and also spread across 30 acres of land. This campus houses Anand Engineering College (AEC) and Anand College of Education (ACE). Anand Engineering College is established on non-commercial lines for building a sound educational base in the close vicinity of Agra, the city of Taj.
BMAS Campus : - BMAS is one of the top engineering colleges of SGI Campus. This campus is located at the 19 Km milestone on the highway of Agra-Delhi (NH-2). This engineering college is housed in its own building with its covered area of 40, 000 sq.mtrs.
Greater Noida Campus : - The Greater Noida Campus is located at 32, 34, Knowledge park-III, at Greater Noida for providing the higher education to the students. This campus provides almost all branches of modern professional education in all fields such as engineering and technology, medical, dental, Para-medical, law, journalism, management and many more.
By concluding, we can say that SGI Campuses give excellent facilities and placement assistance to its students. These campuses also provide full scope for the students to take up several extra curricular courses which can impart a lot of value addition. |
