Dr. M. S. Gaur is currently working as a Professor, Head Department of Physics, Dean R&D, in Hindustan College of Science and Technology, Farah (Mathura) U P India, affiliated to A. P. J. K. Technical University, Lucknow (U P). Dr. Gaur has his expertise in chemical synthesis, characterization of nanomaterial, synthesis of polymer nanocomposites etc. He has focused on multidisciplinary research such as polymer nanocomposites and their applications as a gas sensor and biosensor based on nanomaterial for detection of pesticides, heavy metals etc. He is having 29 year teaching and research experience. He has completed 14 sponsored Major projects and one DRDO project is ongoing. He has completed joint research project with National Centre of Biotechnology, Moscow (Russia) and Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Gomel (Belarus). He has published more than 120 papers in International reputed Journals and guided 12 Ph.D. Currently he is guiding 2 Ph.D. He has chaired many national and international conferences/workshop/seminar and delivered the several invited talk in many conferences in India and in abroad. He has visited many countries in his research career. He is member of editorial board of “Advances in Materials Research”and “Material Physics and Chemistry”. He has worked as visiting Professor in ITMO University, St. Petersburg (Russia) and Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Gomel , Belarus. He has received Best Teacher Award 2020 from Presented by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (India) in occasion of Teachers Day, 5th Sept 2020. He is advisor of Nan Yang Academy of Sciences (NASS), Singapore. He is a founder of Nano and Molecular Society (India). He is an Executive President of Nano and Molecular Society (India) (http://www.nmsindia.net). He is a recipient of European Union Funded National Scholarship Award for the period of three month (01.04.2023 to 30.06. 2023) to work at Presov University, Presov, Slovakia.
