 IDEAS AND IMPACT

THAT TAKE US BEYOND

At their core, 21st-century institutions / universities are the engines of change — places where individuals are challenged to become better versions of themselves, where audacious ideas take root and become reality, where the future takes shape. Sharda was founded by visionaries who understood that power and potential.

They built the institutions like no other — connected and outcome-driven. We exist to serve, challenge and enrich society. Or more accurately, we exist to enable a community of scholars and students to do so, we equip our people with the knowledge, opportunities, infrastructure, partnerships and technology they need to serve society through their own unique journeys of discovery and impact.

Beyond Words

My time in college has enriched my life in many ways. It has provided me with the necessary tools to enhance my skills more, taught me valuable knowledge about this diverse world and people and concepts in general and eventually will enable me to hopefully become more successful in life when I finally graduate and get my degree. It also has stressed the importance of thinking critically and asking questions in many situations. All these aspects of college have also made me more well-rounded as a person.

These experiences are truly irreplaceable.

Beyond Wishful Thinking

When people told me in high school that I was a young adult, it was just words. But in college, those words came alive. I had to make my own decisions and discipline myself. Now, I put my time to good use, and my time-management skills have significantly improved. So, yeah, it’s fundamentally changed the way I think about things.

Beyond The Numbers

@SHARDA: It will be heavier and more intense than you ever experienced before. You start thinking about your future. Be on the lookout for role models. Maybe a certain professor is especially inspiring. Be sensitive to your own gravity. If some area of study attracts you, find out all you can about it. It might be the beginning of your self-definition process. Joining Sharda, is as much about finding out who you really are as it is about getting that degree.

Accordion Title

My college has been the best time of my life. It has been full of ups and downs. I’ve learned a lot since being in college, mostly how to take charge of my life and get my priorities straight. Being successful in college depends on how seriously you take it. At first my priorities were out of wack, and my grades suffered. But a big part of college is maturing and getting your priorities straight, and that’s one big thing I’ve learned so far. College really makes you grow up fast because you are on your own and your parents aren’t there to bail you out.
