M Tech Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with specialization in control systems is a 2-year post-graduate degree program that deals with the designing, configuration and automation of systems. Program Structure : The program is interdisciplinary in nature covering areas such as instrumentation, control, mechanical, computers and chemical engineering. The core course includes automatic, economic, efficient and reliable control systems with a wide range of electives in electric drives, robotics, power system, micro-controllers etc.

 

The curriculum of the program is designed in such a way to make the students excel in the areas of virtual instrumentation, biomedical instrumentation, embedded systems, PLC and DCS, SCADA, smart sensors and sensor networks. Students are required to take up the project, seminar and dissertation for second year in order to implement the theoretical knowledge that they have gained in the first year of the program.
